ABC Supports New Ownership
with Hands-on Sales and After Sales Support.
National Trails, Inc., of
Southfield, MI has taken delivery of a new Van Hool CX45 motorcoach. The
regional charter and tour operation currently runs several Van Hool T2100
coaches in the fleet, and this delivery represents the first transaction
between ABC and the company’s new owner, Mr. Austin Arksey, who recently
acquired the business from the Frank family. The company has provided charter
bus rental services in Southeast Michigan for over 35 years, and under the
leadership of Mr. Arksey, looks forward to continued growth and market
expansion.
The new 56-passenger Van Hool
CX45 features many passenger amenities including comfortable passenger seats
with USB and 110V outlets, REI Elite HDMI System with six 15.6” monitors, and
woodgrain flooring throughout. The new CX45 will be rotated in service to
support National’s diverse charter bookings for tour groups, corporate outings,
school trips and athletics, nights on the town and more.
Mr. Arksey continues to make
enhancements to the operation according to Mr. Pete Bachrach, ABC Senior
Account Executive/Midwest Region. “Austin is passionate about the business and
the industry”, he said, “We’re excited to support his vision, and believe that
his team and company will make an ongoing impact in the market”. ABC Field Technicians will be conducting new
coach orientation and familiarization training to National Trails service mechanics
at their Southfield, Michigan location in early September. Additionally, National
Trails’ service staff plan to participate in hands-on ABC Tech Training
programs offered throughout the year for extensive technical training covering
HVAC, electrical wiring, multiplex systems and more. “The relationship begins
after the sale”, says Mr. Bachrach, “and ABC is eager to share our knowledge,
expertise and ongoing support with parts, service and customer support programs
that we make available to help our customers succeed”.
